Mobile Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

This policy explains how the YogaYathra Android and iOS application uses information needed to provide learning, training, examination, credential and account services.

Information we use

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate users, provide assigned learning content, operate training and exams, show results and credentials, deliver relevant updates, protect accounts and support the service.

Certificates

YogaYathra may store a secure access copy of a certificate issued by YCB, Yoga Alliance or another organization. Displaying a certificate in YogaYathra does not mean YogaYathra issued that external credential.

Security

The mobile app communicates with YogaYathra over HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored using the device's secure storage. Protected learning and certificate files are served only after authorization checks.

External content and services

If a course uses a video or link hosted by an external provider, opening that content may connect your device directly to that provider. That provider may receive normal network information such as your IP address and device/browser details under its own privacy terms.

Advertising and sale of data

The current YogaYathra mobile application does not include an advertising SDK and YogaYathra does not sell personal information for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Information is retained while needed to operate your account, protect the service and meet legitimate operational or legal requirements. You can initiate permanent account deletion in the app under Profile → Delete account or use the external account deletion request page. Associated personal data will be deleted unless specific information must be retained for a legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention or regulatory reason.
